Sex Offender Arrested For Failure To Register

On April 5, 2018, Sex Offender Coordinator, Vanda Phillips, received a phone call that Kyle Gore, a level 2 registered sex offender, had left his registered address without notifying law enforcement. On April 25, 2018, during the investigation, investigators visited the residence where Mr. Gore was registered and was unable to make contact with anyone at the time. Later, the homeowner called and stated Mr. Gore did not live at the address and had not lived at the address since the third week of March. Different addresses of family members in which Mr. Gore could possibly be residing was obtained by investigators. Local law enforcement agencies in those jurisdictions were contacted to attempt to locate Mr. Gore and the attempts were unsuccessful.

On May 21, 2018, Mr. Gore was located by Searcy Police Department and was transported to the Faulkner County Detention Center. Mr. Gore is currently incarcerated awaiting first appearance on the charge of Failure to Comply with Registration and Reporting Requirements, a Class C Felony.
