On Friday morning, 11/11/16, a Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office detainee escaped from FCSO Unit 2.  Conway Police Officers were able to capture the detainee near Harkrider St. and Commerce Rd. at approximately 10:06 A.M. 

The escapee, 50 year old William W. Chamlee of Conway was arrested by Faulkner County Sheriff’s Deputies on 5/17/16 for an assortment of drug related charges.  Chamlee is also a registered sex offender.

At the time of escape, Chamlee had been out in the contained recreation area for a state mandated one-hour recreation period.  The exact method of escape and other details regarding his escape is still being investigated at this time.
