On 10/11/2016, 29 year old Mark E. Nipps Jr. of Conway, AR was arrested and charged with one count of distributing, possessing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child. 

The Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office began investigating the suspect on 10/10/2016 after receiving a cyber tip-line report from the Nation Center for Missing & Exploited Children.  Acting on that report, FCSO investigators began an investigation which resulted in a search warrant being served at the suspect’s residence on Clifton Street in Conway.

Multiple items of computer related evidence were seized and removed from the residence for further analysis.  At the time of the search warrant, Mark Nipps Jr. was contacted and interviewed.  Following the interview and the completed search of the residence, Mark Nipps Jr. was transported to Unit 2 for booking, where he currently awaits a bond/court date.  

Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office considers this is an on-going investigation.
