On Tuesday morning, 8/30/16, Faulkner County Sheriff Deputies responded to Wilcox Feed and Supply on Hwy 65 in the Spring Hill area for a commercial burglary report. Deputies were supplied information and security camera footage of the early morning burglary.

On the evening of 8/30/16, Faulkner County Sheriff Investigators arrested 19 year old suspect, Ryan James Treat of Greenbrier. Treat is being charged with Commercial Burglary (Felony) and Theft of Property (Misdemeanor).

Treat is under investigation for other thefts in the area, and additional charges are pending. This is the third arrest on Treat since June of 2016 for similar charges.

Citizens are encouraged to keep a watchful eye for suspicious activity as they are out and about. Sheriff Matt Rice recommends that citizens be aware of serial numbers, makes/models, etc. of personal items, i.e. firearms, electronics, power tools, etc. This information will help an investigation if a citizen were to fall victim to a crime such as this.
