Joint Agency TACP Training

02/28/2024

Faulkner County Sheriff's Office SRT, Pafford Medical Services STRIIK, & Conway Police Department SWAT teams recently completed the Tactical Arrest & Control Procedures (TACP) Program, which is an extensive physically and mentally demanding 40-hour tactical combatives program.

TACP helps agencies develop realistic scenarios and drills, allowing team members to evolve their decision-making process under stress. This course is a realism-based task-specific system designed to bridge the gap between foundation training and the unique needs of the modern-day tactical team. The course is designed to teach critical tactics to ensure officer survival, all while encouraging the lowest level of force option to be used.

We would like to express our appreciation to Chad Pittman and the Regional Counterdrug Training Academy (RCTA) for training these dedicated teams operating within Faulkner County.
