Faulkner County sheriff’s deputies and Greenbrier police officers were in search of suspects after a homeowner shot at suspects attempting to burglarize his residence. At approximately 1:00pm July 23rd, 2013 the Home Owner Sean Cantrell returned to his home and heard a noise in his basement. Cantrell grabbed his gun to investigate the noise. A few minutes later Cantrell fired two warning shots at the suspects. The suspects fled the residence before deputies arrived. There were no injuries in this incident

 The Greenbrier Police Department K-9 was called out to try to track the scent of the suspects but the K-9 became hot and tired and lost the track.

An hour later neighbors nearby, saw a woman in a field, and called for deputies. The woman (Angel Stane) was arrested and taken in for questioning. Deputies search the area for other suspects and found Daniel Freyburger lying in the field close by. Freyburger was also taken in for questioning by Investigators. A third suspect was never found at the time.
